When I want quite a mild harissa, I use say 6 roasted red bell peppers, and a couple of fairly mild chillies with the seeds removed - you could even just use one. You end up with a harissa which is not too hot, and then using just say one tablespoon in a dish gives just a nice bit of flavour without much warmth at all.<br />Couscous & Consciousnesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06616224893242380904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7919774181554016884.post-82339741685380065012013-03-21T17:29:08.325+13:002013-03-21T17:29:08.325+13:00Once you've made it yourself Joanne you'll...Once you've made it yourself Joanne you'll never look backCouscous & Consciousnesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06616224893242380904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7919774181554016884.post-46452042471817269052013-03-21T06:40:21.233+13:002013-03-21T06:40:21.233+13:00Harissa is so beautiful, but too hot for me..........Harissa is so beautiful, but too hot for me.......Melynda@Scratch Made Food!https://www.blogger.com/profile/17924210552692980145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7919774181554016884.post-74766723025738403362013-03-20T00:29:30.017+13:002013-03-20T00:29:30.017+13:00Harissa is one of my favorite condiments though I&...Harissa is one of my favorite condiments though I've never tried to make it at home!
